RIP CURL PRÓ PORTUGAL RETURNS TO PENICHE AT 2013

ASP announced last thursday on their official website the return of "the search" to Peniche in 2013.
The bad news for all of those who like to see the prós at classical waves are the output of J.Bay at South Africa.
The world tour and Portugal are old friends,since the first contest at Ericeira in 1989,23 years ago at Ribeira d´ilhas, the portuguese spots never denied fire and always presented the pró surfers with dream sessions,in and out of the contests.
Remained in the memory of all of those who had chosen to watch the prós from the cliffs of Coxos, the epic sessions that happened out of the view of the judges on those first editions of the ASP tour in Portugal, and even this last year John John Florence had is particular party at Cave, one of those "infamous" type of waves that Surfer Magazine baptized as "slabs".
