Parko X Slater,who´s the King?

Parko X Slater, Billabong X Quicksilver, Austrália X América, Aussies X Sam´s.
Joel Parkinson wins yestarday the World Surfing Tour without winning a single contest,until at that moment.Later on,without the pressure on the shoulders Parko wins the Pipe Masters.
The world,and even Parko on his interviews,are more concerned with the Slater´s defeat than with the victory of the aussie.

We all know that Parko deals very well with pressure,we saw it at the quarters,but was not a shining victory,it was a victory of tactics.
When Parko wins he was on land watching Slater´s defeat at the heat with Josh Kerr.
Yes we know that´s life on tour,that all the victorys are build on defeats,but still it looks that something is missing on this victory.
Already talk with lots of friends that turns of the webcast when Slater lost the heat with kerr,after the show of notes and surfing that has been Slater versus Dorian.
As an spectator i always will prefer the victory of surfing over tactics.
The king is dead,long live the king.
For me Slater still´s the king.
