Underground surf lifes. "Cosmic Banditos" & "In search of Captain Zero"

The new generations of surfers wins an easy way of surfing the world,they just need to go to the internet and "book" a surf trip in any part of the world.They arrived with the swell,surfed the place and return home stoked and save.There´s no place for mistakes or big adventures.This is the age of the PrĂ³ Surfer where time is money and everything is around and connected with money.
This is possible becouse of the old generations of surfers,guys that in order to surf the most that they can just turn their backs to the establishment and face an life of adventures.
To surf and find new uncrowded waves was the priority and everything was valid to achive this goal.
This produce the most carismatic characters of our culture,hippies by conviction or by the circunstances,this generations of surfers conquer the world and surfed alone all the spots that are completely crowded this days.
Guys like Miki Dora or Allan Weisbecker are part of our history,pure surfers that shaped our souls,as surfers,and all of us need to know and understand their motivations,to understand who we are and from where we came.
"Cosmic Banditos" and "In search of Captain zero" are two great books written by A.Weisbecker that latter turn into movies in the hands of Sean Penn and J.Cusack,also Weisbecker is the screenwriter of the famous "Miami Vice",that as their books are based in real situations lived by him in search of the perfect,uncrowded wave.
