NIKE´S WITHDRAWAL FROM SURFING ????

Nike announced that it will no longer sponsor the American surfing tour,the "thinkers" went into crisis predicting the withdrawal of million dolars from the Giant out of the sport.

Hurley,an american company with "name" in the surfing market was purchased by Nike and the removal of "Nike" as a name is a smart move from the Giants,the division Hurley will take now a step forward ensuring the piece of the pie and resting the most purist which never see with "good eyes" (like me) the entrance of a corporation without the slightest tradition in the surfing world.
It is just a trick,a maneuver but at least we will not see the same shorts at the tennis court and at Pipeline.
